Este domingo 3 de junio se realizó una nueva edición de los MTV Movie Awards en la que The Hunger Games obtuvo algunos de los premios más importantes como ‘Mejor Actuación Femenina’ y ‘Mejor Actuación Masculina’, los cuales fueron para Jennifer Lawrence y Josh Hutcherson respectivamente.
Pero para sorpresa de todos, fue Saga Crepúsculo: Amanecer (Parte 1) la cinta que se llevó el premio a la ‘Mejor Película del Año’; asimismo, fue premiada con el trofeo al ‘Mejor Beso’ por las románticas escenas entre Robert Pattinson y Kristen Stewart.
No menos importante fue el reconocimiento a Harry Potter y las reliquias de la muerte: Parte 2; el filme obtuvo el galardón al ‘Mejor Elenco en Pantalla’, siendo Emma Watson la representante de saga quien tomó el premio a nombre de todo el equipo.
Finalmente, tres trofeos especiales también fueron entregados. Uno estuvo destinado a Johnny Depp quien se hizo acreedor al premio ‘MTV Generation Award’, otro para Emma Stone como ‘Trailblazer Award’ y el premio ‘Instant Cult Classic’ para el filme ‘Project X’.
