Los 'Brit Awards 2013' trajeron muchas sorpresas para la industria musical, puesto que no fueron los ganadores predecibles los que se llevaron los trofeos.

En el caso de 'Mejor Grupo', Mumford & Sons vencio a One Direction , sin embargo la famosa 'boyband' se llevo el trofeo en 'Éxito Mundial'. Ademas, Lana del Rey vencio a Taylor Swift y Rihanna en 'Mejor Cantante Femenina Internacional'.

Por otra parte, Emeli Sand e se llevo mas de un trofeo 'Brits', mientras Adele defendio su natal Londres con el premio al 'Mejor Sencillo' por Skyfall.
