La sonada fecha del fin del mundo es 21 de diciembre del 2012 y es este viernes. Algunos creen que estamos a merced del apocalipsis, mientras que otros no creen que todo vaya a acabar dentro poco.
De cualquier modo, ocurra el fin del mundo o no, hay artistas musicales – cantantes y grupos – que han hecho canciones a partir de esta temática, o bien simplemente son menciones dentro de las estrofas.
La más representativa y popular quizás sea ‘It’s The End of the World’ de R.E.M., ya que explícitamente dice ‘es el fin del mundo’. También tenemos a la princesita del pop Britney Spears con ‘Till the World Ends’ cuyo videoclip es ambientado en el apocalipsis.
